3. You can Google ‘fractions’, ‘fraction games’ or ‘fraction worksheets’ to find more explanations and extrawork on fractions. For now we are doing only halves and quarters. You can also visit the following link.

4. In your display book you have a lot of shapes folded into halves and quarters, separate them in two different plastic folders and file in your Maths Study File.
5. Keep both Way Aheads at home for studying.
6. English Composition ‘Preparing for Christmas’ on yellow copybook.
7. Remember that you have to finish your reindeer, St Nicholas and Christmas card from re-cycled material by this Friday.

1. Christmas cards from all children to whole class made from recycled material have to be ready by this Friday (4th Dec.).

7. Way Ahead Workbook Pgs 30 and 31. Finish and colour Unit 5. Revise very well workbook Units 1 to 5 for next week’s test. Keep both Way Aheads at home for studying.
8. Read story ‘San Nikola’ and finish the drawing.

During this outing, students will enjoy the beautiful surroundings of San Anton Gardens, enter the President’s Palace and visit Traditions’ Malta’s 200sq metres of exhibition area.
Students will also embark on an educational treasure hunt using all their senses to come up with the answers and complete the required tasks.
During the magnificent exhibition, children will be taken back in time while they explore clay mechanical figures doing different traditional things like cotton spinning, cloth weaving, clock making, basket weaving, filigree, glass blowing, lace making, traditional baking and much more.
Children should come in their Tracksuit. They should bring a small bag with lunch, fruit, water, healthy treat, pocket with pencils and colours, photo camera (if you want), notebook, display book and the homework of the previous day.

6. You have five handouts with very good reading and phonics websites. Please make sure that children use these website games everyday to strengthen their sounds and reading capabilities.

6. Maltese Composition ‘Jiena Ktieb’ on orange copybook. Use the questions handout to help you build sentences where you are going to imagine that you are a book, not a boy or a girl. The handout with lines will give you an idea how sentences should be placed.
7. Start to prepare a Christmas card from re-cycled material addressed to the teacher, Ms Alison and the whole class. Try to be original. These cards will be exhibited in the school. All children have to do it, please.

Please come to school in your blue uniform. We cannot take anything with us in the theatre and we will not be too long. Take a good breakfast, then we will eat when we arrive back to school. Please get your normal school satchel and normal lunch.
Remember that you have to get your drawing of a dog on an A4 sized kartoncina.
